IRGC Claims New Wave of Attacks on US Bases in the Gulf Region.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the launch of a new phase of attacks in the Gulf region, as part of what it described as the continuation of “True Promise 4.”
In a statement released by its public relations office, the group said the latest phase involved a series of strikes targeting locations believed to be US military bases and assets across the region.
According to the statement, multiple attacks were carried out using a combination of ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) aimed at key military installations.
The IRGC also claimed that some of the strikes targeted locations linked to Israel, including intelligence facilities and early-warning systems.
Additionally, the statement referenced attacks near the waters of Bahrain, where the US Navy’s United States Fifth Fleet is based. However, there has been no independent confirmation of reports suggesting injuries among US personnel.
The group further alleged that strikes were carried out in maritime areas near the United Arab Emirates, targeting certain military defense systems.
The report also indicated that an oil tanker experienced difficulties in the Gulf following an alleged attack, although no independent sources have verified the details.
Regarding claims involving the US aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln, it was reported that the vessel repositioned in the Indian Ocean following a perceived threat. However, no official confirmation has been issued.
As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official response from US or Israeli authorities confirming or denying these claims.
