Report: UNDP Warns of Major Economic Losses if Conflict Erupts with Iran.
A new report by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has revealed that even a one-month conflict involving Iran could cost Arab countries up to $194 billion in economic losses.
The report states that such a conflict could reduce the region’s economic growth by between 3.7% and 6%, signaling a significant setback for affected economies.
According to the UNDP, the impact would go beyond economic figures, as millions of people could be pushed into poverty. The situation may also lead to widespread job losses and a rise in unemployment across the region.
The agency further warned that even a short-term conflict has the potential to cause serious damage to both the economy and the overall well-being of people in Arab countries.
The report concludes with a caution that failure to take timely and effective measures could worsen the long-term consequences of the crisis.

Rahoton ya bayyana cewa irin wannan rikici zai iya rage ci gaban tattalin arziƙin yankin da kaso tsakanin 3.7% zuwa 6%, abin da ke nuni da babbar koma baya ga ƙasashen da abin ya shafa.
